Creating Collaborative Models with Collaborative Farming Podcast

My name is Jameson Parker, I’ve been in Nashville for 8 years, originally from northeastern Ohio. During my process of gaining degrees in Biblical Studies and Community Development, I discovered a passion for small-scale farming. I volunteered at a small community garden in East Nashville for several years before becoming an employee in 2019. There, I’ve worked in CSA market gardening, poultry management, Korean natural farming methods and am now responsible for teaching elementary and high school gardening courses for a local k-12 school. I’m a founding member of the Moonlight Collective. I’m interested in further expanding food security discussions and see the Collective as an avenue for networking and bringing farmers together to solve tough problems in the food industry, an effort I’m interested in tackling both here and in the communities I work with abroad.
