APPLY: Sales and Marketing Manager at Caney Fork Farm

The Sales and Marketing Manager (SMM) leads the department with two direct reports, one full-time sales associate and one (currently part-time) Communications Associate. The SMM leads weekly L10 meetings for each department and the Farm Director is a part of those teams. 

The primary function of the department is to manage all sales processes for direct sales and wholesale accounts. The main sales channel is a weekly CSA for both meat and vegetables which are picked up at 2 Nashville, TN markets and other community locations in Lebanon and Carthage. The vegetable boxes are non-customizable and are set with the crop plan, while the meat boxes are built out by the sales team. The farm sells products at those markets and also manages a small, but growing, online store, and sells to regional groceries and restaurants. We are in a growth mode working to hit aggressive but achievable sales targets that align with our vision and mission.
