With a passion for the environment, Diane Fisher is dedicated to teaching youth how to make a difference in their community through experiential learning activities, service projects, and creative problem-solving. Over the course of her career as a middle school science and special education teacher, Diane has contributed to numerous projects spanning a variety of environmental and food insecurity issues, earning recognition for both expertise and vision. Whether exposing youth to the wonders of nature, developing creative activities, or mentoring emerging talent, Diane is committed to fostering growth and sharing knowledge. Her work reflects a focus on impactful solutions and a drive to connect across communities.  As a member of Steam Onward/Ujamaa Cooperative Farming Alliance, Diane has adopted the motto of the youth, “We could have cared less...but we decided to care more!”
