Jessie Lumpkins grew up in Castalian Springs, TN, graduating from Gallatin HS in ‘05 and MTSU in ‘09 with a BS in Agribusiness. She was a high school agriculture teacher at Page and McGavock High Schools from 2009 to 2019. In 2018, she earned National Board Certification and was named CTE Teacher of the Year for Metro Nashville Public Schools. 

She then worked in agriculture education non-profits as a communications manager, curriculum designer, and professional development facilitator before moving into her current role as Farm to Families Coordinator at Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee.

Jessie has a passion for connecting people and creating community. She is a member of Harvest Point Church in White House, Tennessee. In her free time, she enjoys thrifting, baking, woodworking, and attending concerts. On weekends, you can find her watching football, horse racing, and baseball with her husband Shane and their three cats.
