Kelsey is a second-generation farmer at Sequatchie Cove Farm, where the Keener family has practiced regenerative, organic production for 3 decades in Southeast TN.  While the farm still is extremely diversified, producing everything from vegetables and grains to grass-fed lamb, Kelsey's focus for the past 5 years has been scaling up their pasture-raised egg operation from 400 laying hens to over 8,000 hens today!  Kelsey's passion for creating a profitable and truly sustainable regenerative farming system is what keeps him going and excited about the daily life of working on the farm.
