Lizzie (she/her) is the co-founder and co-manager of Sugar Camp Farm in Ashland City, TN, established in January 2015. At Sugar Camp Farm, Lizzie and her team have slowly gone from a market farm and raising sheep to now working directly with chefs and restaurants in the Nashville area. On the farm, Lizzie and her team focus on producing crops that have proven to be dependable, profitable, and enjoyable to grow. They have a low-till production system, with the ever-present, sometimes challenging goal of maintaining soil and plant health. Lizzie loves to talk about farm efficiency and systems that honor the well-being of the farm and the farmer. She is honored to be a part of the conference this year and is excited to share her experiences.
