Chris Battle is the founder of Battlefield Farm & Gardens, an urban agriculture initiative working to eliminate food insecurity in Knoxville’s 37915 zip code. Since 2019, he has led efforts including community gardens, the Fannie Lou Veggie Van, and the development of a nonprofit grocery model focused on equitable food access.
