Jess Wilson is the Policy Advisor for the Southeast TN Young Farmers Coalition (SeTNYF). Since the chapter began in 2019, Jess has led SeTNYF's policy advocacy activities, which include sharing information about relevant bills (and issues) introduced in the state legislature, connecting farmers and farm-adjacent organizations with opportunities to tell their stories to lawmakers, and getting farmer stories out into the world to increase public understanding of farmer issues, especially those of aspiring, beginning, and BIPOC farmers. Jess is also a sheep farmer in Monteagle.
