Nurisa Phillips is with Cooper Creek Farm in Joelton, TN. She previously managed Sugar Camp Farm (2023–2026) and Henosis (2021), and brings five years of experience managing diversified vegetable operations.

Ami Thaivalappil is a second-year medical student at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine with research interests spanning critical illness and the underlying role of nutrition as a driver or deterrent against disease. As president of the Vanderbilt Educational Garden Initiative (VEGI) and Food Resources for the Underserved in Tennessee (FRUIT), Ami is leading efforts to address food insecurity as a driver of health disparities and build efficient and equitable community-based models of care.
