Chief Operating Officer

The Nashville Food Project (TNFP) seeks a collaborative, systems-oriented, and values-driven Chief Operating Officer (COO) to serve as a senior leader during an exciting chapter of organizational growth. Reporting to the CEO and working closely with the Leadership Team, the COO ensures that internal systems, staff development, and program execution are aligned with the mission and anchored in organizational values. This is a significant opportunity for a seasoned executive to help lead a highly respected, community-based organization that is advancing a more just and sustainable food system in Nashville. The COO will integrate key areas of work across the organization, including programs in food access and community engagement, as well as people and culture. As a member of the Leadership Team, the COO will support long-term planning while strengthening internal systems, evaluation practices, and interdepartmental collaboration. This leader will serve as a trusted internal advisor, a skillful coach, and a thought partner to the CEO.

Community Agriculture Operations Coordinator

The Community Agriculture Operations Coordinator (CAOC) works to ensure that infrastructure and operations at the Community Farm at Mill Ridge, McGruder Community Garden, and the Growing Together Farm are well-maintained and function smoothly and consistently. Reporting to the Director of Agricultural Operations (DAO), the CAOC performs regular site maintenance, maintains tool libraries, coordinates annual plant sales, seedpacking, and distribution processes, monitors garden plots, supports simple maintenance and repair projects, and facilitates 2-3 volunteer events each week. This is a physically active position that requires consistent work in diverse outdoor conditions, particularly between March and November
