During this session, we will begin by covering local, state, and federal advocacy pathways and strategies for addressing specific policy concerns. This will be followed by a hands-on activity where we will identify priority policy issues within the group and explore potential partnerships to build a statewide policy coalition. This coalition will represent young, aspiring, beginning, BIPOC, small-scale, sustainable, and other groups of farmers that tend to lack representation in policy.
