SCHEDULE:

Morning Session: Grapevine Pruning

8:30 AM Registration begins

9:00 Welcome by Karla Gargus, Cody Parker, and the Cooke Family (Beachaven owners).

9:00 AM-11:00 AM Participants will divide into two groups for demonstrations: Cane Pruning: Led by Dr. David Lockwood, Professor (& Extension Fruit/Nut Specialist).

Spur Pruning: Led by Cody Parker, UT ANR Agent

12:30 Lunch & Welcome by Julie Head, Owner Head Peach Co.at Mt Carmel UMC, Church - 5050 Pickering Rd., Clarksville, TN 37043

Afternoon Session:

Small Fruit & Tree Fruit Pruning

Location: Head Peach Co. (across the road from the church).

1:30 PM-3:30 PM: Participants will divide into two groups for demonstrations:

Blackberry & Blueberry Pruning: Led by Dr. Annie Vogel (Assistant Professor & UT Extension Fruit Specialist) and Karla Gargus.

Apple & Peach Pruning: Led by Dr. David Lockwood
