Webinar: Soil Health and Food Nutrient Density

Join us for the second webinar in our lunch & learn series!

Lunch Hour Harvest is a five-part webinar series designed to explore how agriculture and local food systems impact individual, community, and environmental health across Tennessee. Hosted by TN Local Food in partnership with the Tennessee Department of Health and the UT Institute of Agriculture, this series brings together experts and practitioners to share innovative approaches, research, and real-world solutions. Participants will gain practical insights and tools to strengthen their work in public health, food systems, and community development.

In this second webinar, Soil Health & Food Nutrient Density, we will explore the key components of soil health and the core practices of regenerative agriculture, examining how the condition of our soil directly shapes the nutrient density of the food it produces. Participants will consider the public health implications of soil degradation and discuss how improving soil health can support both long-term agricultural resilience and community wellbeing across Tennessee.

To register for this workshop you will be required to create an account with Train. While it only takes a few minutes to create your account, we highly recommend registering in advance.
