Saturday, December 6th, 10:15 AM

Rebecah Boynton, The Nashville Food Project

From morning glory to Nepali mustard greens, Growing Together introduces new flavors to Nashville while providing significant economic opportunities for immigrants and refugees. Facilitators of Growing Together will share the evolution of the program from a single acre of grass to a fully operational urban farm, CSA, and farmers’ market. Through farmers’ stories and first-hand accounts, attendees will gain insight into the journeys of immigrants and refugees, as well as the significant impact programs like Growing Together can have on the future of urban agriculture.
