Anna Muhammad currently serves as the Food Access Director for The Northeast Organic Farming Association Massachusetts Chapter (NOFA/Mass) and Pocasset Pokanoket Landtrust. Anna completed NOFA/Mass’s Beginner Farmer Program in 2015 and began working with NOFA/Mass in 2016.  The programs that the Food Access Program includes are the Youth Agricultural Scientist Program at Home City Housing, the Open Pantry Community Garden Project, and smaller projects in the Boston and Springfield areas.  In 2025, Anna added her work with PPLT in the Boston and Rhode Island area.  That work includes collaborating with BIPOC farmers and schools to establish a connection between fresh, local food, healthy meals, and organic growing practices.  Anna and her husband, Keith Muhammad, live in Springfield, MA, and they are market gardeners in the Mason area of Springfield.
